RoTRACK is a powerful management tool to enable proactive, real time management and statistical process control of water treatment systems either at site or remotely. The RoTRACK system provides automatic data acquisition and archiving; real time monitoring; historical trending; statistical process control analysis, and logs alarm events. The system has been designed specifically for use with reverse osmosis water treatment systems -inclusive of pretreatment and ion exchange polishing; but can be applied to any process system where sensor signals are provided.

The RoTRACK system offers the following capabilities and functions:

• Automatic Data Acquisition, Logging and Archiving

  The system continuously scans sensor data inputs and automatically logs and archives operating data at user specified intervals.

• Real Time Remote Monitoring - Local at Site and Remote via Modem

  System operation and performance can be monitored in real time either locally at site or remotely via computer modem. System operating parameters are displayed graphically either as bars, analog gauges, in tabular format, or as a combination of the above formats. Real time operating parameters may be graphically monitored using a color coded system for normal operation, warning status, or alarm condition.

• Normalization of RO data using ASTM standards

  Data critical to proper evaluation of reverse osmosis membrane performance (salt rejection, permeate flow, feed/brine average rejection and simple rejection) can be normalized in accordance with ASTM standards and graphically displayed for performance evaluation, to schedule preventative maintenance, or for troubleshooting.

• Historical Data Trending

  Historical performance data can be plotted or presented in tabular form for any period selected for easy monitoring, analysis of system performance, and as a record of prior performance for quality control or regulatory purposes.

• Statistical Process Control (SPC)

  For applications where tight performance specifications and absolute reliability must be at all times maintained, RoTRACK offers SPC capabilities to monitor and assess stringent performance specifications. RoTRACK analyzes and graphically presents operating data for any period specified and for any selected parameter or combination of parameters as:

       X/Y plots
       histograms
       X-Bar/R Charts

• Alarm Monitoring and Reports

  RoTRACK continuously scans sensor inputs and compares the current value with alarm set points. All alarms conditions are then logged and may be summarized in reports.
